Everyone has a story. We all have an inner narrative that dictates the way we see the world, ourselves, and each other. And if you want to live fully, it is absolutely imperative you become aware of exactly what it is you’re saying about yourself, your relationships, your experiences, and, well, your life as a whole.

If you aren’t totally sure what story you’re telling yourself yet, let’s just start with this:

If your life were a book, what would the synopsis sound like?

Would it be full of purpose or would it lack direction? Would the language be growth-oriented or defeatist? Would the characters be imperfect but lovable or would they be more so negative and toxic?

The way you answer this question is incredibly telling. If answered honestly, you might be surprised to discover that the story you’ve been telling yourself is based on a fixed mindset. Or you might come to find that the “characters”, aka relationships, you surround yourself with aren’t so healthy.

Whatever your current storyline may be, if it is no longer serving you, if there are components of it that you wish were different, here’s a fact that needs to get out:

You're allowed to rewrite your story.
